Springtime Collaborative Garden with Amber Fletschock

  • Armory Arts & Events Center 203 Park Avenue South Park Rapids, MN, 56470 United States (map)

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Mixed-media collage artist, Amber Fletschock, will guide students through the process of making cut paper collages that celebrate the flora and fauna of the upcoming spring season.

Participants will make their own “gardens” using found imagery, and other drawing and collaging materials. Students can also add their contributions to a collaborative group garden – with each “plot” woven together and hung in our open studio space to be added on to when our doors open for the 2022 season.

DETAILS

Students ages 7-18 are welcome to participate in this class free of charge, though sign-up via Eventbrite is required. The cost of the class and materials are covered by our generous business sponsors, grants from the Region 2 Arts Council, and 3M.

The class will take place at the Armory Art & Events Center in Park Rapids, in Studio 1. Attendance is limited to 20 participants, and we will keep a 5 person waitlist if necessary. Contact Tessa at director@nemethartcenter.org if tickets are sold out, and you'd like to be added to the waitlist.

Please provide your name, the participant's name and age, and your email and phone number in case there are any logistical issues we need to contact you about. Please register by March 25. Pre-register here
